Dr. Greenberg brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and experience in dermatology, particularly in Mohs surgery and skin cancer treatment. Born in Miami Beach, FL, and raised in Dallas, TX, Dr. Greenberg pursued his medical education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed both college and medical school. After enduring eight cold winters in Philadelphia, he returned south to complete an internal medicine residency at Emory University.
It was during his time at Emory that Dr. Greenberg developed a passion for dermatology. He became a clinical research fellow in the Dermatology Clinical and Outcomes Research (DCOR) Unit, focusing on melanoma detection and skin cancer in organ transplant recipients. Following this, he spent a year working as a physician in the emergency department at the Atlanta VA Medical Center before fully committing to dermatology.
Dr. Greenberg completed his dermatology residency at St. Louis University and went on to specialize in Mohs surgery, training under Dr. Gary Monheit in Birmingham, AL—one of the pioneers of Mohs surgery. This highly specialized surgical technique, combined with Dr. Greenberg’s expertise in complex facial reconstructions, allows him to remove skin cancers and restore patients’ natural appearance with precision and care.
Certified in dermatology, internal medicine, and Mohs micrographic surgery, Dr. Greenberg is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Since 2017, he has been providing exceptional dermatologic care in Georgia, curing thousands of skin cancers, and building a reputation for both his technical skill and his compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Dr. Greenberg is married and has 6 children. In his free time he enjoys family activities, from building Legos to reading bedtime stories.
